From falsies to fangs and everything in between, Los Angeles-based IATSE local 706 makeup and special effects artist Jill Fogel can do it all. A versatile and passionate creative, Jill’s vast experience in the industry spans over twenty years and ranges from editorial, to beauty, to film and television, to SFX and prosthetics work. The seeds for Jill’s career were planted doing makeup for friends, bands, and photoshoots in her teenage years, and progressed to working at beauty counters for well-known brands like Benefit, Dior, Chanel and NARS. After freelancing with numerous  high end brands, and doing makeup for various events and media productions in Phoenix, Jill moved to LA and made a name for herself on the West Coast. She’s created looks for celebrity clients like Lana Del Rey, Denise Richards, and Tyler the Creator, worked on shoots for major networks and companies, lending her considerable skills to music videos, television productions, and films such as the award-winning picture A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night. Her most recent project includes doing SFX makeup & prosthetics, on the iconic third and final of the Halloween Trilogy, Halloween Ends, and the new Exorcist: Believer. Glam, grunge, gore, or the Grammys - Jill Fogel is there, brushes in hand, ready to make the magic happen.
